Job Description

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for working closely with the building landlord, in house trades, and internal teams to ensure proper support is provided. Additionally, the role will be responsible for supervising and inspecting all repair and maintenance programs/vendors, responding to, and addressing facility related issues/repairs, and manage special projects as assigned.

  • Partner with our Facilities Front Desk to ensure work orders are being reported, tracked, and addressed in an effective and timely manner.
  • Work closely with our finance department to maintain operating financial support and reporting; to include the submission and oversight of all purchase orders for facility related vendors.
  • Proactively identify and implement efficiency strategies across the operation.
  • Conduct floor walks, enter work orders, and managing repairs to ensure space is maintained to a best-in-class environment.
  • Manage in-house trades performance, expectations, and budget.
  • Address emergency issues as they arise in a timely manner and ensure successful completion.
Qualifications


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Communications, Construction, or related field.
  • 2 years facility management experience.
  • 2 years project management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage contracts, negotiate terms, and maintain budgets.
  • Required on-site, 5 days a week. Willingness / ability to work other shifts and / or weekends with short notice.
  • Must be willing to work in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and New York, New York.
  • Must be willing to work a 11pm – 7am shift, but can vary (7am – 3pm or 3pm – 11pm)

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in managing others.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage corporate office space and problem solve.
  • Construction project management experience is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of an organization and management and ability to build external networks.
  • Self-starter; demonstrates initiative.
  • Ability to analyze and present results in Excel and/or PowerPoint as needed.

Additional Requirements

  • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
  • This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.   • Salary range: $75,000 - $115,000 (bonus eligible)
